"In HEALED!, which is both inspiring and instructive, Gayle will take you by the hand and walk with you to know Jesus as the Lord who heals."

About The Book

For anyone who is suffering with a debilitating or terminal illness ... there is hope!

When Gayle Taylor, mother of two young daughters, begins experiencing incapacitating symptoms, she doesn’t expect to spend the next decade fighting for her life. It starts with occasional minor weakness. Then suddenly one day comes extreme fatigue and severe respiratory problems, pain throughout her body, mental fog, memory failure, and physical debilitation that make even the simplest of tasks feel monumental. After more than three years of doctors being unable to identify her problem, she finally receives a diagnosis. Lupus. A disease with no cure.

As her health deteriorates, Gayle’s life becomes a miserable journey of survival as a prisoner to her own body. In her darkest of valleys, as she is planning her own funeral, the Lord speaks to her through Deuteronomy 30:19 and tells her to choose life. That moment is her turning point! She realizes this is not just a battle of the flesh but also of the spirit. Through much suffering, surrender, and prayer, God teaches her lessons she can only learn by walking through this season of her life. In this journey of faith, the Lord ministers to Gayle and carries her to the mountaintop of rejoicing!

This book is a powerful testimony of God’s deliverance and healing power that will bring an infusion of hope and joy and inspire you to believe for your own miracle!

Gayle Taylor, a faithful disciple of Jesus, chronicles her journey of getting to know Him as the Lord who heals. Gayle was an active and productive part of our church when I began my tenure of thirty-eight years as lead pastor. We witnessed the Lord’s provision for Gayle (described in chapter 3) as she participated in our “Arise and Build” challenge to build a house for the Lord. Our family was the grateful recipient of the miracle of healing that my wife, Linda, experienced when the women’s prayer group from our church came to our home and prayed for her (described in chapter 8). After many years of faithful service in our church, Gayle relocated to another area of South Carolina, and we said goodbye to someone we dearly love and appreciate. In Healed!, which is both inspiring and instructive, Gayle will take you by the hand and walk with you to know Jesus as the Lord who heals.
