Sunsets: God’s amazing Creation

For pure enjoyment and in perfect alignment with my love for nature, I often find myself taking the long, scenic route home in the late afternoon. The sky, at this hour, is nothing short of magnificent. Each day’s unique sunset presents itself in splendor as it paints the sky with its ever-changing colors. Some afternoons, the horizon comes alive in a fiery display of oranges, reds, and vibrant yellows, while some sunsets offer more serene moments with the cloudless heavens glowing in tranquil shades of pink or purple as the light of day gently fades into twilight.

I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of God’s amazing creation, and these fleeting moments are too marvelous not to capture, so my iPhone is filled with photos of breathtaking sunsets. As the extraordinary beauty fills my sight and senses, I am in awe of this divine artwork and am reminded of the timeless words from the hymn “How Great Thou Art”:

O Lord, my God, when I, in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made… Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee, how great Thou art, how great thou art.
